Gorge Walking in the Brecon Beacons

The Gorge Adventure Day takes place away from our activity centre, in the Western side of the Brecon Beacons National Park (now Bannau Brycheiniog), where your instructor would meet you.

Gorge Walking is a fantastic choice for Stag and Hen parties looking for a day of excitement and fun! Not only is it the best seller from our collection of Black Mountain Adventures, but is an absolute must for those looking for an exciting but challenging day!

You'll find yourself:

• Jumping In To Plunge Pools
• Traversing Along Rock Walls
• Jumping Across Boulders
• Climbing Waterfalls
• Exploring Dark Holes In The Ground (Only For The Intrepid)
• Crawling Behind Waterfalls.

And if that doesn't get your adrenaline pumping, the jumps will!... Have You Got What It Takes?

Still want more? Then go for the Full Day session and complete the adventure by taking the plunge at “Loonies Leap” - The 18ft jump that will make you question your head for heights!

Don't worry! All that fun will be under the supervision of your experienced instructor.

Only fancy a couple hours in the gorge then we do offer half day sessions, why not combine it with another great activity such as Raft Building, Canoeing, Paintballing, Clay Shooting, Mountain Biking, High Level Ropes and zip wire Etc.

Half Day (approx. 2.5 hrs)
Morning - 10:00am - 12:30pm
Afternoon - 1:15pm to 3:45pm

WHAT’S PROVIDED

• 5/3mm wetsuit
• Buoyancy Aid
• Helmet

WHAT TO BRING

• Swimwear for under wetsuit
• Towel
• Trainers or walking boots (footwear can be provided if needed)
• Do not bring valuables where possible

Deposits

A deposit of £20pp will be required in order to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due 2 weeks prior to your activity date. If booking within two weeks of activity date full payment will be due at time of reservation.
